Morgana McKenzie and Naya Weiler in the Green Room of Rogers Daytime Ottawa
About a week ago, I was on Rogers Daytime Ottawa with one of the actors in my film, Naya. We were interviewed by Lois Lee and Derick Fage about the experience of making a film, what it was like, some challenges we faced, etc. This was both Naya’s and my first TV interview, and we had loads of fun doing it!
Naya, my producer (my Mom) and I got to relax in the Green Room prior to the interview. We met Lois and Derek and chatted with the other interviewees. Then we got mic’d up. This photo is of Naya and I in the Green Room before the interview.
Being interviewed was amazing! The set was very comfortable, almost like a living room, and Lois and Derick were very welcoming and nice. When we were just about to go live, we were told not to look at the cameras, and the camera man started to count down. We then did the interview, chatted, and left the studio.
I am very grateful to have had this experience, and had fun doing it!
